Updated: Aug 28, 2019
Situated within an area of outstanding natural beauty, Brig o’ Doon House Hotel offers a stunning and relaxing backdrop in the midst of historical Ayrshire, the birthplace of Scotland’s National Bard, Robert Burns. The riverside wedding venue offers a 360 degree view of the best scenery that Ayrshire has to offer. Not forgetting the bridge itself which features at the thrilling climax of Burns' poem, Tam o'Shanter. Given the right weather conditions, this wedding venue is almost unbeatable and rivals even Loch Lomond in terms of iconic Scottish scenery.
Parking is very limited at the venue itself but there are spaces available at the nearby Alloway parish church and the Robert Burns Memorial Centre. Travelling from Glasgow could not be easier using the M77 motorway. The venue is less than a mile from the cut off junction. The banqueting hall can seat up to 180 guests.
In this blog post you will have a chance to look at the wedding video highlights of Stacey and Donald, filmed in April 2013. He couple were looking for a more natural style of filming which allowed them to relax and enjoy there special day while we discreetly go on with the job of capturing everlasting memories for them.
